Singer Ram Krishna Dhakal has raised funds for the families of flood and landslide victims in Helambu. Singer Dhakal, who is currently in the United States, has raised one lakh rupees by requesting the Nepali community there.
Singer Dhakal, who arrived in the US for a concert, said the money was donated to an organization called K Foundation Global.
“I have appealed to the Nepali brothers here for help with the aim of helping the families displaced by the floods and landslides, albeit in small quantities. The reluctant Nepali and Bhutanese Nepali speaking brothers and sisters have helped with an open heart ‘, he said,’ even a small amount will help in rescuing the victim’s family in times of disaster. ‘
Singer Dhakal said that the assistance was provided to alleviate the damage caused by the natural calamities in the country.
“On June 16, during a program in Pencil Vania, about 1,200 dollars was collected. I have donated one lakh Nepali rupees collected from that to ‘K Foundation Global’, he said.
Singer Dhakal said that the remaining amount collected will be provided through other organizations for those working in Frontline in the Corona epidemic.
Similarly, Saurabh Rimal, Managing Director of K Foundation Global, said that the financial support of singer Dhakal would be a great relief to the flood-displaced families of Helambu.
“We are grateful to Ramkrishna Dai for sending us the money even in such a difficult situation,” he said. “We will distribute the necessary materials to the displaced families.”
Earlier, singer Dhakal from the United States had raised Rs 1.8 million for oxygen management for corona sufferers. The money was donated to the Mahavir Pun National Innovation Center.
