The ban on coronavirus infection control has resulted in the distribution of food items to families earning a daily wage. On his initiative, social worker Saurabh Rimal on Tuesday provided essential food items to needy families in Balkh, Kathmandu.
With the support of Koirala Foundation Global, he has provided food items including rice, oil, pulses, china, salt, chickpeas, gram flour, corn, etc.
Rimal said that food items were distributed to the needy families from outside the Kathmandu Valley. Taking care of the social distance, a distance of three and a half feet was maintained in a systematic manner and relief items were distributed and soap and other items were also distributed to the needy families, he said.
“I am providing food to some families living in Kathmandu. “I am excited to provide daily food items to the poor in some parts of Kathmandu,” he said. He has been feeding even the street birds.
